I miss the old Kpop scene, too.
It used to be about being cute and sophisticated sexy. Now it’s about being seductive and provocative sexy. What happened to being sexy and attractive without the need to take off your clothes or expose sexually arousing body parts?
Songs had a distinct “Kpop” feel to them and were natural and simple. Now songs are all auto-tuned, have too much going on, and feel recycled. It’s all about the image and looks now, too. So many fans have their minds in the gutter while the fans I dealt with in the past had respect for the stars. A lot of people are getting into Kpop just for the looks, now.
I also feel like entertainment industries are just trying to look for fast ways to make money now. Many of the Kpop artists now are talented and there are exceptions. But I feel like it’s all about quantity with a lack of quality these days.
I don’t know. Kpop isn’t the same.
