Think before you speak

A few years ago, I had to have some plastic surgery done for health reasons. I didn’t want my friends to worry so I played it off as just wanting to fix things about myself.

One day, a friend pointed out Bom of 2NE1 and said “Look, she’s just as plastic as you.”

Needless to say, it hurt. And fans keep saying things like this. Not only does it hurt it the idols if they would happen to see it, but it also hurts people like me who’ve had plastic surgery done. Everyone has their own reasons for it: whether it be forced on them by health issues or just wanting to change something about their body.

I can’t imagine what it would be like to have comments about my surgery thrown at me every day like those idols. It’s inspiring to me that they deal with it so well. Honestly, try be a bit more understanding of the idols who look like they’ve had work done. It doesn’t make anyone less human.
