a fan of k-pop, but I’m NOT a fan of the singers/bands.

I love listening to k-pop music. But I can never obsess over any kpop band or singer. Some may obsess over a certain singer because of his/her personality, but reality is, there are tons of people with similar, if not better, personalities. For those who obsess over singers with good looks, well, I do see better-looking people. I can only understand if someone is a fan of a singer due to his/her talent, but there are some Youtube singers that have a greater talent.

I don’t mean to seem like a hater though. I just don’t obsess over any kpop band (which is why fan wars are silly to me.) Sure, I do think “that singer is handsome” or “(s)he sings good” from time to time, but I won’t sacrifice EVERYTHING just to see him or her. I have bought albums, but I haven’t ever considered sending fanmail and gifts to any singer or band.

s!b: A lot of people cannot tolerate that I can be so indifferent about bands, when I listen to their music.
