The song is great but the Hyuna got too many scenes in the MV when her voice isn’t great and the song would sound better without her voice. Why does CUBE even put them in a group when you’re going to favor 1 member over others? CUBE could have made Hyuna a solo artist and the song Volume Up will be for the remaining members to sing so they would get even treatments.

I find the people that blame Cube for Hyuna’s stage persona just as awful as the people who slut shame her. The type of people who say things like, “It’s not Hyuna’s fault, it’s just the company making her act slutty.” They completely miss the point that it’s okay for a girl to be sexually confident in herself. I can completely understand if Hyuna’s in-your-face sexiness is unappealing to some that prefer a more reserved type of sexiness, but she shouldn’t be called a slut because her sexuality is too strong for you.
s!b-Trying to explain to people that no one should ever be called a slut is exhausting because they hardly ever really listen.
I think she is a good singer and all, but there’s something I find really annoying with her voice. I can’t stand it. It’s one of the reasons I don’t liisten to 4minute’s music. I really don’t want to be rude but for me her voice reminds me of a whiny child.
I still respect her for being the main vocalist. She isn’t bad, it’s just me who don’t like the sound of her voice.

I was really disappointed with 4Minute’s comeback. :(
I feel like no matter what they do, Hyuna is always at the front of the band, as their entire face…just look at the cover! she’s right in the middle, and practically the first face you see on there. she’s the only member looking straight ahead, which just demands attention.
I just wish Cube would let Hyuna stay a solo artist and stop giving her all the attention! She doesn’t deserve haters, and the rest of 4Minute deserves for fans to actually know their names and faces!

s!b!2; no one really agrees with me but I think it’s for the best that they do this, for the sake of 4Minute as a whole.
On one hand, Cube shows ONLY HYUNA. Don’t get me wrong, I am definitely a Hyuna fan, and I have no problem with it save for the fact that the other girls are so left out of the spotlight. They deserve it just as much as she does.
On the other hand, Cube has 4Minute debut with VOLUME UP and then COMPLETELY leaves Hyuna out from singing in most of the performances so far…maybe she’s sick, but I haven’t heard anything of it. Regardless, in Volume Up she only got maybe 4 lines in the entire song?
Can they not get it right? It’s the most ridiculous scale, going from one extreme to the next.
Most people don’t want to admit that no matter how much fame Hyuna gets, she is still a part of 4Minute.
I really think that Cube should just fix the problem…either promote the band as a whole, or remove Hyuna from 4Minute and have her be a solo-artist only. I mean, she’s not being promoted as part of 4Minute regardless of her standing point, so what difference would it make to take her out of 4minute?
But that’s just my unpopular opinion, anyway.

I really hate how Cube Entertainment tries to sell her body. I get that she has a nice body and shit, but I like her better as a cutie pie, she has a ridiculously cute voice.
