I love CL, but honestly, the girl is overrated as a rapper and at being sooo badass.
I’ve heard so many of 2ne1’s songs, and I’m a blackjack, but I can’t bring myself to say she is a great rapper, or in the least badass.
A lot of people say “CL is one the best female rappers in Kpop and could own anyone.” or “CL is the baddest female around.” But really, she’s much better that Hyuna, but worse than Yoobin who is still just an idol rapper.
She’s a typical idol group rapper. Not a real rapper. If she even tried to call herself a real rapper, she would get put in her place so fast by real rappers like Miryo, Tasha, and E.Via.
She’s so much better as a singer than as a rapper. Her rapping is very choppy and she overpronounces every word. She doesn’t have that amazing flow rappers should have. I’ve only heard her rap really well in the leaders.
s!b: Most blackjacks think she’s the best thing ever when it comes to rapping.
s!b: There is no safe place to be able to submit this without being threatened and screamed at.
Now before you all scream at me or start saying I’m trolling, I’m not.
I legitimately believe that CL is the best. Not because she has the best flow, lyrics, or whatever but she has the best stage charisma. I think stage charisma is what really makes a rapper a great entertainer. That’s why Lil Wayne is better than Eminem and GDragon is better than Tiger JK.
You can have the best flow in the world but if you can’t make people pay attention to you than what’s the point? In a nutshell, CL has the best “swag” and that’s why so many people agree that she’s the best female rapper in the game.
s!b: I know how scary K-Pop fans can be when it comes to this…
All because they have such easy names to pronounce. I have anxiety when it comes to names and pronouncing them wrong. I feel like if I pronounce someone’s name wrong, bad luck will come my way so I get really OCD about making sure I’m pronouncing names correctly.
So when I first started getting into k-Pop I would get so anxious when someone asked me what the name of my favorite idol was because I was afraid I would pronounce it wrong. Like Minho as Min-Ho. Or Taeyang as Tay-Yang. So when I started getting more into K-Pop I was so happy that there were idols with easy names that I could say like Tiffany and Sunny. That’s probably the number one reason why I like them.
s!b: No one knows about this weird anxiety of mine…
