Dreams

I had a dream a few nights ago that I was a plastic surgeon and Dongwoo came in crying to me saying that he wanted me to give him tits and… other girl-bits so that he could have Myungsoo’s baby because he wanted to have a baby as beautiful as Myungsoo and as talented as him.

Then the conversation (because apparently I was fine with this O_O) went on to how big his tits were going to be (he decided on C’s because suddenly having DD’s would hurt his back?) and if he was still going to retain his… boy bits… HOW DOES THAT WORK

He left after that because I had another appointment, and Kikwang came in telling me that the womb I had given him wasn’t working because he wanted to have twins- each with the genes of each husband (Junhyung and Doojoon) but they kept being twins of the same gene parent…

Then I woke up screaming.

That was then I realised that I seriously should stop my kpop addiction…

s!b: This is fucking weird and I am so embarrassed for me and my sub conscience.

Hoya is great, but Dongwoo is better IMO

Okay, I’m really sorry, but this is one huge post about how great I think Dongwoo is over Hoya…..long post is verly long…

Recently Hoya’s been receiving a lot of praise for his talents, the fact that he can sing, dance, and rap. At first it was cool, I thought “It’s good to have a member that’s well rounded.” Then, however, he started getting more parts in their songs and the were was a dwindle in Dongwoo’s part specifically. As a raging Woonique, (it took me a year to come to this conclusion), I noticed, and I started  imagining Dongwoo, rapping or singing Hoya’s parts, and, in my opinion, it seemed like Dongwoo’s version was better.

In terms of rapping, I think Dongwoo’s delivery is better and his writing, too. When “Nothing’s  Over” came out, people praised Hoya for the fact that he wrote the raps for the song by himself. It’s they had that Dongwoo had written a majority of the raps for their songs up until that point, and later it felt like people had completely forgotten that Dongwoo wrote a majority of “Crying” by himself. When Hoya is on stage rapping, he gets this sort of angry mad look on his face, and he’s try to hard to look “hard”. When Dongwoo is on stage rapping, he makes it look effortless. He emotes and moves as if he’s saying the words naturally.

Dancing wise, Hoya may technically be “better” in terms of difficulty and skill, but once again Dongwoo’s innate talent to do it has him making everything look completely effortless. Where Hoya’s moves are always sharp to the point of being over exaggerated at times. His face is always screwed up and hard looking (again) and you kind of want to tell him to lest go. When Dongwoo dances it’s a string of fluid motions, and he seems to let the music dictate the power of his movements as well as the over all demeanor of his performance. DOngwoo’s more enjoyable to watch. When I watched their pre-debut videos, their audition video’s specifically, while Hoya was “stronger” that’s all it really was. Dongwoo’s dancing really seemed like art in motion (especially in his JYP audition), and he was fluid, and near flawless.

Who’s the better singer is still up in the air. The only song that Dongwoo ever really gets to showcase his voice in is “Can U Smile” and their ballads, and, from what I’ve heard, he isn’t bad. I feel like if Woollim would put the effort into his voice that they do into Hoya’s, he could be as good him, and would also make for some interesting differences in Infinite as a whole. I mean, he sounds like he can carry a tune. Hoya as parts in their others songs, and he’s decent.

All in all, I think that Dongwoo doesn’t get as nearly as much recognition as he deserves. The boy is an artist, (I think he’s a closet genius, too.) Hoya may be talented, but I think Dongwoo is on a completely different level, and he hasn’t got a chance to show it yet. It’s not that I don’t like Hoya, really, and I’m not trying to shit on him or anything. It’s just that I’m sick of him being called “the most talented” in Infinite when there’s another member in the group who does every thing he’s praised on the same level as him, if not higher.

s!b: I honestly don’t know how Inspirits will react to this. Hopefully, even if they don’t agree with it, they’ll see where I’m coming from. Hoyatics and Wooniques pleas don’t fight.
