I don’t like Hyoyeon.

but it seems like nowadays, it’s a crime to dislike her, while it’s OK that so many people dislike Yoona or Jessica. LOL!

I hate it when Hyoyeon fans, SONEs, or even non-SONEs, always attack me if I say I don’t like Hyoyeon or that I don’t find her good looking (in other words: ugly). Is it so bad that I have my own opinion? When people say Yoona isn’t pretty, they get +1 and I don’t see that many people defending her. Same for Jessica and so many haters calling her “horse face”  and it’s fun for them. But for Hyoyeon, although people used to be honest, nowadays we can’t say anything about her or you get attacked directly… which is why I don’t express my opinion about her and keep it for myself. It’s not only her fans, but everyone who knows her (non-SONEs) who defend her.

They act like it’s a crime to call her “ugly”, but I remember watching this show with SNSD, and when the MC talked about Hyoyeon’s secret crush, and they started to tell names to see her reactions (and to know if it’s him or not). When the MC said “2AM Changmin”, Hyoyeon did that “ewww no” expression. Wow, how nice! So it’s OK for Hyoyeon to show on TV(!!) a disgusted face when she’s asked if she likes Changmin (which means she finds him ugly or even worst), but it’s not OK for people like me to just say my honest opinion on the internet? LOL!

Yes I don’t like Hyoyeon, I find her ugly, her personnality is not interesting, I find her arrogant sometimes, and her dancing is not bad but so exaggerated that I really dislike watching it. I don’t mind her while she’s with SNSD but I like it better if she’s not there or if she’s there but not talking. Sorry if it’s offending, but that’s how it is when you don’t like someone…

s!b1: Like I said, if I say this somewhere on the internet, I can be sure to get bashed and attacked by Hyoyeon fans + Sones + non-Sones because it’s now the trend to love Hyoyeon even for no reason.

s!b2: For me I’m a fan of SNSD (SONE) but I know that many people would scream at me that I’m not because I don’t like Hyoyeon and because it’s a crime to dislike her. I also don’t have a lot of interest for Sooyoung but I don’t dislike her. But as a fan of all other members and for following the group for years, I still call myself a fan of SNSD.

Hyoyeon is overated

At first i saw comments that Hyoyeon was underrated. I agree because for me she was beautiful in a unique way, was the best at dancing etc. Then i saw at youtube more rookie stars dancing like amazing and secretly i find them way better than Hyoyeon and she noways exaggerate dance moves. The other reason is that so many people comment that she is the best at dancing, should be the face, can sing in the top 5, is underrated and more from that kind of stuff. That i personally thinks that she became overrated.

MY SISTER TURNED FROM A LOVER TO A HATER

My big sister was 11 when she started to listento KPOP. Her 2 biases are Hyoyeon and Yoona. She was a hardcore Sone, she always wanted to be like YoonA and always adore Hyoyeon. When their was something new about both of them she always could talk about it for hours. Now 2 years later she suddenly becames more obsessed with Hyoyeon and started to say things like YoonA should leave SNSD, That she is ugly, Should stop with KPOP and that kind of stuff, That Hyoyeon is the prettiest and she is also making videos that it is the power of eight.  

I personally did not find it alright what she did but never said any thing about it. If she find somebody else pretty than that is her taste. but now she says I would like it if Yoona get into an accident or that YoonA did’t even exist.

It scares me how she in the past always wanted to be like YoonA and now wanted bad things happen to her. For example when i was watching Love Rain alone at home. When she got home the first thing she does was being mad at me and said that if i ever watch it again that she would hit me.

Hyoyeon.

I don’t think she’s a virgin. She always gives off the “I had sex with my boyfriend” vibe. At SM Town concerts, every time she’s dancing with one of the boys idk… I just think she had sex with half of the SM boys/other male idols.

Taeyeon, Hyoyeon and potentially Yuri could be doing a lot better than SNSD.

Taeyeon shouldn’t be performing songs like Oh!, Gee or Run Devil Run when she can do a lot better (ie. I Love You, Hush Hush, Lady Marmalade, You Bring Me Joy). Hyoyeon shouldn’t need to be waving a lollipop when she could pop as easily as she could breathe by the age of 11. She’s been mastering how many different styles of dance since around the time she entered school only to be dancing things like Gee, Oh!, Genie and The Boys, whch are dances focused far more on aesthetics rather than technique. (why can’t we have dances like “Anonymous” with Jaewon?) And Yuri is pretty much a well-rounded/balanced performer. They are recognized for their talent, I’m not saying that they’re underrated/underexposed, and they have a fair bit of time to show it on TV shows, concerts, dance breaks and solos etc. just that those times are kind of scarce, and really, they could be performing to the very best of their ability every time they step on a stage. Don’t get me wrong, I love them in SNSD, and if it weren’t for SNSD they wouldn’t be where they are now, it’s just that SNSD doesn’t really let them shine by themselves as much as it should. s!b: some people won’t agree, and I’m also pretty sure this has come up a few times already. I don’t really know.

I actually think Yoona is pretty popular among international fans.

I’ve seen all these comments saying how Hyoyeon is more popular internationally and how people think Hyoyeon is way pretty that ‘plain old Yoona’. I actually disagree with this statement. I mean, look at the facebook pages of the nine girls. Yoona has 380k. Hyoyeon? 135k. Even on a tumblr poll I saw, said Yoona was more popular than Hyoyeon. 
And also, people have been saying Hyoyeon is prettier than Yoona and only the Koreans find Yoona prettier than Hyoyeon. And I was to address this too. On 6theory, on a thread it was “Rank the prettiest SNSD member” (Something like that). And guess what? Most posters said ranked Hyoyeon last. And there was quiet a lot of people who ranked Yoona first too. 

S!B: Hyohunnies will bash the heck out of me and they’re actually the worst fans among the SONE fandom. Also, I’m a YoonAddict, so if I do post it on my tumblr, the bashing will be 100x worse.
